lab / case_study_01 · a playable proof

A full 3D game, built by two.

One 3D model of a little robot went in. What came out was Signal // Noise — a high-fidelity browser arcade game with eleven worlds, a boss, an original soundtrack, and a voice-acted co-pilot. Designed, coded, scored, and directed by a senior art director and an AI partner. No engine license. No dev team. It runs in the browser you're reading this in.

Every discipline a studio would hire out, run from two seats.

Art direction & 3D

The look

A brand-true black void with a single vermilion accent — the design system rendered as a world. Real-time bloom, custom shaders, eleven distinct sectors, evolving armor, and a living sky, all built from primitives and light.

Engineering

The build

A complete Three.js / WebGL game in a single file: physics, five-lane gameplay, seven abilities, a perk-draft roguelite layer, a boss encounter, and a post-processing pipeline — plus auto quality-scaling and gamepad support.

Sound & music

The score

An original soundtrack that crossfades between worlds, a full library of designed sound effects, and AnchondoBot — a voice-acted co-pilot who reacts to your run, all generated and directed in-house.

Game & systems design

The hook

Combo multipliers, daily seeded runs, missions, ranks, a share card, and a research-backed reward loop — every layer designed to make the next run irresistible. Tuned, not guessed.

Signal // Noise isn't a game studio's product — it's a demonstration of a way of working. If a two-seat practice can ship a game this deep, it can ship your website, your brand system, your campaign, or your AI workflow. That's the offer. This is the proof, and it's playable.
